Celebrating Excellence: Fall 2023 Presidential Volunteer Service Award to honor Dr. Morris

Our own Dr. Clifford V. Morris will be honored at the Fall 2023 Presidential Volunteer Service Awards Ceremony at the American Psychiatric Association (APA) Headquarters in Washington, DC. The event will honor individuals who have dedicated their time and effort to making a meaningful difference in their communities. This event holds special significance as it aligns with the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s 52nd Annual Legislative Conference.

One of the notable figures behind this event is Rawle Andrews Jr., Esq., the Winter 2023 Joseph R. Biden, Jr. Lifetime Achievement Award honoree. As the executive director of the APA Foundation and the 135th president of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia, Mr. Andrews embodies a lifetime of commitment to public service. His role in hosting the Fall 2023 Presidential Volunteer Service Award Honors Ceremony underscores the importance of recognizing and celebrating those who contribute significantly to their communities.

Dr. Beverly Kee, the Executive Director of Premiere Coalition Partners Association, LLC, a certifying organization for the Presidential Volunteer Service Award Program, expressed her gratitude to the American Psychiatric Association and Rawle Andrews Jr. for hosting this distinguished awards program. The event will see the presentation of awards by Dr. Kee on behalf of Points of Light, AmeriCorps, President Joseph R. Biden Jr., and Vice President Kamala Harris.
